Senior conductor LI Fangfang, a first-class conductor of China, is the founder of the Chinese Armed Police Band and was also the first commander of this band. He is also a board member of the Asian-Pacific Wind Band Conference, a member of the China Musicians Association, a board member of the Beijing Musicians Association, chairman of the Beijing Band Directors Association, and conductor of both the China Youth Wind Ensemble of the China Central Conservatory of Music and the Symphonic Band of the Xi'an Conservatory of Music.

At a young age, Mr. LI began his musical journey by learning the violin and cello and also started his education in conducting by studying under Mr. LI Delun and Mr. HAN ZhongJie. In 1983, Mr. LI graduated with a Bachelor's degree from the Music Department of Beijing Capital Normal University. In 1994, he studied at the New England Conservatory of Music under world-renowned conductor, Frank L. Battisti. Upon graduating from the New England Conservatory of Music, he received a diploma in Wind Ensemble conducting. In 2003, LI Fangfang graduated from the Music School of the University of Arizona with a Master's degree in conducting, and involved in the doctorate programme in the university.

Mr. LI is an honourary member of America's Kappa Kappa Psi national fraternity, and he has had the great privilege of working with numerous ensembles from Europe, Asia, Australia, and the America. These ensembles include the Princeton Symphonic Wind Orchestra, Hong Kong Youth Symphonic Wind Orchestra, St. Thomas University Symphonic Band in the US, and the Adelaide University Wind Orchestra, etc.

Mr. LI has conducted numerous classics composed in time periods ranging from the 16th to the 21st century. He is dedicated to the studying and sharing of the art of Western wind ensemble music. He is the author of The Brief History of Western Wind Band and Important Repertoire and has also recorded many albums.

Beijing Wind Orchestra
Beijing Wind Orchestra, founded in 2009, is a large professional wind orchestra composed of 80 musicians with profound musical knowledge and exquisite skills. The Orchestra performs a wide range of repertoire in different styles, including classic wind orchestra pieces, light music, chamber music and jazz. LI Fangfang, a Chinese A-list conductor, is Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the Orchestra. Beijing Wind Orchestra has established extensive partnership with renowned musicians, composers, conductors and music organizations from home and abroad, and will make active efforts to propel the development of China's orchestra.

Pre-sale & On sale

When tickets are on pre-sale,that means customers can pay for reservation only, and when tickets become on-sale, the physical tickets will be issued, and we will arrange the seats in a priority sequence of paying successfully. If there are any tickets left after that, customers can buy directly then.

For some big events, seat map cannot be issued when tickets are on pre-sale and since tickets quantity depends on organizers or venues, sometimes the reservation might be canceled, when that happens, we have to arrange refund work to those who have paid successfully. However, we will always try our best to satisfy our customers’ demand.

Can I choose a seat?

Usually, seat plan will be issued after tickets are on-sale. So when tickets are accepting reservation, customers can only pay for the tickets, and when tickets becomes on-sale, our staff will arrange the seats in a priority sequence of paying successfully.
If there is “buy on map” button, then you can choose the seat from the available seats.

Will my seats be together?

Usually, tickets purchased in one order will be seated together.

I live abroad, how can I buy and get my tickets? Can you deliver tickets to abroad?

For safety reasons, we now do not provide delivery to abroad service. We suggest customers choose “pick up by myself”when purchasing online, and then come to specified Damai branch to collect tickets before the show.

Can I ask my friend to collect tickets on behalf me?

Yes, but your friend is required to show the following documents:
1、Your passport and the credit card you use when purchase;
2、Your friend’s ID or passport.
3、Our staff will contact you to confirm again before hand over tickets.

    1. Delivery is not available within 3 days before the performance.Customers can choose self pick-up at Damai office.
    1. Customers who choose ‘Quick Buy’ to buy ticket are limited to 20 tickets.
    1. Children under 1.2m in height are NOT admitted, beyond 1.2m are admitted with tickets.
    1. As the particularity, tickets sold are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
